H.R. 1 – For the People Act of 2019:  Expands voting rights, would make election day a federal holiday, and reduces the influence of big money in politics.

H.R. 4 – Voting Rights Advancement Act of 2019: Protects voting rights in areas with a history of voter discrimination.

H.R. 5 – Equality Act: To prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

H.R. 6 – American Dream and Promise Act: To authorize the cancellation of removal and adjustment of status of certain immigrants.

H.R. 7 – Paycheck Fairness Act: Eliminates pay discrimination on the basis of sex. Equal pay for equal work.

H.R. 553 – (Bipartisan) Military Surviving Spouses Equity Act:  To repeal the requirement for reduction of survivor annuities under the Survivor Benefit Plan for military surviving spouses to offset the receipt of veterans dependency and indemnity compensation.

H.R. 641 – Agricultural Worker Program Act of 2019: To improve agricultural job opportunities, benefits, and security for aliens in the United States.

H.R. 647 – (Bipartisan) Palliative Care and Hospice Education and Training Act: To increase the number of permanent faculty in palliative care at accredited allopathic and osteopathic medical schools, nursing schools, social work schools, and other programs, including physician assistant education programs, to promote education and research in palliative care and hospice, and to support the development of faculty careers in academic palliative medicine.

H.R. 657 – Immediate Financial Relief for Federal Employees Act: To provide loans to employees of the Federal Government and the government of the District of Columbia affected by a Government shutdown.

H.R. 663 – (Bipartisan) Burn Pits Accountability Act: To direct the Secretary of Defense to include periodic health assessments, separation history and physical examinations, and other assessments to evaluate whether a member of the Armed Forces has been exposed to open burn pits or toxic airborne chemicals.

H.R. 693 – (Bipartisan) PAST Act: To amend the Horse Protection Act to designate additional unlawful acts under the Act, strengthen penalties for violations of the Act, and improve Department of Agriculture enforcement of the Act. Specifically to prevent the practice of soring horses.

H.R. 724 – (Bipartisan) PACT Act:  Prevents animal cruelty and torture.

H.R. 728 – (Bipartisan) Title VIII Nursing Workforce Reauthorization Act of 2019: To extend advanced education nursing grants to support clinical nurse specialist programs.

H.R. 737 – (Bipartisan) Shark Fin Sales Elimination Act:  To prohibit the sale of shark fins.

H.R. 748 – (Bipartisan) Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act of 2019: To repeal the excise tax on high cost employer-sponsored health coverage. 

H.R. 763 – Energy Innovation & Carbon Dividend Act of 2019:  This bill imposes a fee on the carbon content of fossil fuels, including crude oil, natural gas, oil, or any other product derived from those fuels that will be used so as to emit greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

H.R. 810: To block the implementation of certain presidential actions that restrict individuals from certain countries from entering the United States.

H.R. 860 –  Social Security 2100 Act: Protects and strengthens our social security system for current and future generations.

H.R. 865 – Rebuild America’s Schools Act of 2019: To provide for the long-term improvement of public school facilities.

H.R. 1013 – ICE and CBP Body Camera Accountability Act: To require agents and officers of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection to wear body cameras.

H.R. 1042 – (Bipartisan) PREPARED Act: To amend the Animal Welfare Act to require that covered persons develop and implement emergency contingency plans.

H.R. 1043 – (Bipartisan) Employer Participation in Repayment Act of 2019:  Expands the tax exclusion for employer-provided educational assistance to include payments of qualified education loans by an employer to either an employee or a lender.

H.R. 1044 – (Bipartisan) Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act of 2019: To eliminate the per-country numerical limitation for employment-based immigrants, and increase the per-country numerical limitation for family-sponsored immigrants.

H.R. 1050 – ANTIQUITIES Act: To provide for the administration of certain national monuments, to establish a National Monument Enhancement Fund, and to establish certain wilderness areas in the States of New Mexico and Nevada.

H.R. 1074 – Protecting America’s Workers Act: To amend the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 to expand coverage under the Act, to increase protections for whistleblowers, to increase penalties for high gravity violations, to adjust penalties for inflation, to provide rights for victims or their family members.

H.R. 1390 – Mobile Health Record Act of 2019: To promote the ability of individuals entitled to benefits under part A or enrolled under part B of the Medicare program and individuals enrolled under a State plan under the Medicaid program to access their personal medical claim data, including their providers, prescriptions, tests, and diagnoses, through a mobile health record application of the individual’s choosing.

H.R. 1393 – Medicare Dental, Vision, and Hearing Benefit Act of 2019: To provide for coverage of dental, vision, and hearing care under the Medicare program.

H.R. 1394 – Medigap Consumer Protection Act of 2019: To provide for certain reforms with respect to medicare supplemental health insurance policies.

H.R. 1396 – (Bipartisan) Hidden Figures Congressional Gold Medal Act: To award Congressional Gold Medals to Katherine Johnson and Dr. Christine Darden, to posthumously award Congressional Gold Medals to Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson, and to award a Congressional Gold Medal to honor all of the women who contributed to the success of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration during the Space Race.

H.R. 1423 – Forced Arbitration Injustice Repeal (FAIR) Act: To prohibit pre-dispute arbitration agreements that force arbitration of future employment, consumer, antitrust, or civil rights disputes, and prohibit agreements and practices that interfere with the right of individuals, workers, and small businesses to participate in a joint, class, or collective action related to an employment, consumer, antitrust, or civil rights dispute.

H.R. 1468 – SAFE Act of 2019: To promote the economic security and safety of survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking.

H.R. 1551 – (Bipartisan) Quality Care for Moms and Babies Act: To improve the quality, health outcomes, and value of maternity care under the Medicaid and CHIP programs by developing maternity care quality measures and supporting maternity care quality collaboratives.

H.R. 1570 – (Bipartisan) Removing Barriers to Colorectal Cancer Screening Act of 2019: To waive coinsurance under Medicare for colorectal cancer screening tests, regardless of whether therapeutic intervention is required during the screening.

H.R. 1572 – (Bipartisan) Botanical Sciences and Native Plant Materials Research, Restoration, and Promotion Act: To promote botanical research and botanical sciences capacity.

H.R. 1709 – Scientific Integrity Act: To amend the America COMPETES Act to establish certain scientific integrity policies for Federal agencies that fund, conduct, or oversee scientific research.

H.R. 1773 – (Bipartisan) Rosie the Riveter Congressional Gold Medal Act of 2019: To award a Congressional Gold Medal, collectively, to the women in the United States who joined the workforce during World War II, providing the aircraft, vehicles, weaponry, ammunition and other material to win the war, that were referred to as “Rosie the Riveter”, in recognition of their contributions to the United States and the inspiration they have provided to ensuing generations.

H.R. 1776 – Captive Primate Safety Act: To prohibit the importation, exportation, transportation, sale, receipt, acquisition, and purchase in interstate or foreign commerce, or in a manner substantially affecting interstate or foreign commerce, of any live animal of any prohibited wildlife species.

H.R. 1792 – (Bipartisan) Ensuring Safe Housing for Our Military Act: To address health, safety, and environmental hazards at private military housing units.

H.R. 1812 –  (Bipartisan) Vet Center Eligibility Expansion Act: To furnish Vet Center readjustment counseling and related mental health services.

H.R. 1976 – (Bipartisan) PFAS Detection Act of 2019: To require the Director of the United States Geological Survey to perform a nationwide survey of perfluorinated compounds.

H.R. 1978 – Fighting Homelessness Through Services and Housing Act: To fight homelessness in the United States by authorizing a grant program within the Health Resources and Services Administration for housing programs that offer comprehensive services and intensive case management for homeless individuals and families.

H.R. 2164 – Green Bus Act of 2019: To require any bus purchased for use in public transportation with funds provided by the Federal Transit Administration to be a zero-emission bus.

H.R. 2208 – (Bipartisan) Cabin Air Safety Act of 2019: To improve the safety of the air supply on commercial aircraft.

H.R. 2214 – NO BAN Act: To transfer and limit Executive Branch authority to suspend or restrict the entry of a class of aliens.

H.R. 2221 – (Bipartisan) Fry Scholarship Improvement Act of 2019: To expand eligibility for the Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship to children and spouses of certain deceased members of the Armed Forces.

H.R. 2250 – Northwest California Wilderness, Recreation, and Working Forests Act: To provide for restoration, economic development, recreation, and conservation on Federal lands in Northern California.

H.R. 2256 – Driving America Forward Act: This bill expands the tax credit for new plug-in electric drive motor vehicles and extends the tax credit for new fuel cell motor vehicles.

H.R. 2293 – (Bipartisan) Protecting Access to Wheelchairs Act: To amend the Social Security Act to exclude complex rehabilitative manual wheelchairs from the Medicare competitive acquisition program.

H.R. 2313 – (Bipartisan) Water Conservation Rebate Tax Parity Act: To expand the exclusion for certain conservation subsidies to include subsidies for water conservation or efficiency measures and storm water management measures.

H.R. 2326 – (Bipartisan) Navy SEAL Chief Petty Officer William Bill Mulder (Ret.) Transition Improvement Act of 2019: To improve transition assistance to members of the Armed Forces who separate, retire, or are discharged from the Armed Forces.

H.R. 2337 – FLEET Act: To provide for the upgrade of the vehicle fleet of the United States Postal Service.

H.R. 2339 – Reversing the Youth Tobacco Epidemic Act of 2019: To amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act with respect to the sale and marketing of tobacco products.

H.R. 2382 – (Bipartisan) USPS Fairness Act: To repeal the requirement that the United States Postal Service prepay future retirement benefits.

H.R. 2398 – (Bipartisan) To amend the United States Housing Act of 1937 and title 38, United States Code, to expand eligibility for the HUD-VASH program, to direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to submit annual reports to the Committees on Veterans’ Affairs of the Senate and House of Representatives regarding homeless veterans.

H.R. 2399 – (Bipartisan) Homes for Our Heroes Act of 2019: To provide greater transparency in the HUD-VASH supported housing program for homeless veterans.

H.R. 2415 – Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act of 2019: To provide standards for facilities at which immigrants in custody of the Department of Homeland Security are detained. 

H.R. 2420 – (Bipartisan) National Museum for the American Latino Act: To establish within the Smithsonian Institution the National Museum of the American Latino.

H.R. 2474 – Protecting the Right to Organize Act of 2019: To strengthen protections for workers engaged in collective bargaining to improve their wages, hours, and terms and conditions of employment, and expand coverage to more workers.

H.R. 2481 – (Bipartisan) Gold Star Family Tax Relief Act: This bill treats certain military survivor benefits that are received by children as earned income of the child for the purposes of the kiddie tax (the tax on the unearned income of children). This has the effect of exempting the benefits from such tax.

H.R. 2482 – (Bipartisan) Mainstreaming Addiction Treatment Act of 2019: To eliminate the separate registration requirement for dispensing narcotic drugs in schedule III, IV, or V (such as buprenorphine) for maintenance or detoxification treatment.

H.R. 2508 – (Bipartisan) Better Respiration through Expanding Access to Tele-Health Act: To provide for a pilot program to include respiratory therapists as telehealth practitioners under the Medicare program.

H.R. 2579 – Hardrock Leasing and Reclamation Act of 2019: To modify the requirements applicable to locatable minerals on public domain lands, consistent with the principles of self-initiation of mining claims.

H.R. 2628 – (Bipartisan) VET CARE Act of 2019: To amend title 38, United States Code, to authorize the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to provide administrative support to providers of dental care who provide such care to veterans that is not furnished under such title, and to direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to establish a pilot program for the provision of dental care to certain veterans.

H.R. 2708 – Disarm Hate Act: To prevent a person who has been convicted of a misdemeanor hate crime, or received an enhanced sentence for a misdemeanor because of hate or bias in its commission, from obtaining a firearm.

H.R. 2764 – Zero Emission Vehicles Act of 2019: To create a national zero-emission vehicle standard by the year 2040.

H.R. 2767 – (Bipartisan) SERVE Act: To provide for eating disorders treatment for members and certain former members of the uniformed services, and dependents of such members.

H.R. 2912 – (Bipartisan) Military Spouse Hiring Act: To make employers of spouses of military personnel eligible for the work opportunity credit.

H.R. 2924 – (Bipartisan) Housing for Women Veterans Act: To reauthorize the Supportive Services for Veteran Families Grant Program.

H.R. 2931 – SERVE Act of 2019: To direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to provide hospital care, medical services, and nursing home care for certain individuals discharged from service in the Armed Forces by reason of sexual orientation or gender identity.

H.R. 2975 – Women’s Health Protection Act of 2019: To protect a woman’s ability to determine whether and when to bear a child or end a pregnancy, and to protect a health care provider’s ability to provide reproductive health care services, including abortion services.

H.R. 2977 – DISCLOSE Act of 2019: To amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to provide for additional disclosure requirements for corporations, labor organizations, Super PACs and other entities.

H.R. 2995 – Spent Fuel Prioritization Act of 2019: This bill requires the Department of Energy to prioritize the acceptance of high-level radioactive waste or spent nuclear fuel from decommissioned nuclear power reactors located in areas with large populations and a high seismic hazard.
