– For the People Act of 2019: Expands voting rights, would make election day a federal holiday, and reduces the influence of big money in politics.

H.R. 4 – Voting Rights Advancement Act of 2019: Protects voting rights in areas with a history of voter discrimination.

H.R. 5 – Equality Act: To prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

H.R. 6 – American Dream and Promise Act: To authorize the cancellation of removal and adjustment of status of certain immigrants.

H.R. 7 – Paycheck Fairness Act: Eliminates pay discrimination on the basis of sex. Equal pay for equal work.

H.R. 8 – (Bipartisan) Background Checks Act of 2019: Requires background checks on all firearm sales.

H.R. 9 – Climate Action Now Act: To direct the President to develop a plan for the United States to meet its nationally determined contribution under the Paris Agreement.

H.R. 36 – Combating Sexual Harassment in Science Act of 2019: Addresses sexual harassment in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields by supporting sexual harassment research and efforts to prevent and respond to sexual harassment.

H.R. 51 – Washington, D.C. Admission Act: To admit Washington, Douglass Commonwealth into the Union on an equal footing with the other states.

H.R. 67 – (Bipartisan) Federal Employee Retroactive Pay Fairness Act: Ensures that all federal employees who were furloughed due to the government shutdown receive their back pay.

H.R. 95 – (Bipartisan) Homeless Veteran Families Act: To ensure that children of homeless veterans are included in the calculation of the amounts of certain per diem grants.

H.R. 230 – Ban Toxic Pesticides Act of 2019: To cancel the registration of all uses of the pesticide chlorpyrifos.

H.R. 279 – California Clean Coast Act of 2019: Protects the California coast from offshore drilling.

H.R. 299 – (Bipartisan) Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2019: To provide health coverage to those exposed to agent orange while serving in the Navy off the coast of Vietnam.

H.R. 310 – West Coast Ocean Protection Act of 2019: Prevents offshore drilling off the coast of California, Washington, and Oregon.

H.R. 550 – Merchant Mariners of World War II Congressional Gold Medal Act of 2019: To award a Congressional Gold Medal, collectively, to the United States Merchant Mariners of World War II, in recognition of their dedicated and vital service during World War II.

H.R. 553 – (Bipartisan) Military Surviving Spouses Equity Act: To repeal the requirement for reduction of survivor annuities under the Survivor Benefit Plan for military surviving spouses to offset the receipt of veterans dependency and indemnity compensation.

H.R. 582 – Raise the Wage Act: Would gradually Increase the Federal minimum wage.

H.R. 647 – Palliative Care and Hospice Education and Training Act: To increase the number of permanent faculty in palliative care at accredited allopathic and osteopathic medical schools, nursing schools, social work schools, and other programs, including physician assistant education programs, to promote education and research in palliative care and hospice, and to support the development of faculty careers in academic palliative medicine.

H.R. 693 – PAST Act: To amend the Horse Protection Act to designate additional unlawful acts under the Act, strengthen penalties for violations of the Act, and improve Department of Agriculture enforcement of the Act.

H.R. 724 – (Bipartisan) PACT Act: Prevents animal cruelty and torture.

H.R. 737 – Shark Fin Sales Elimination Act: To prohibit the sale of shark fins.

H.R. 748 – Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act of 2019: repeals the excise tax on employer-sponsored health care coverage for which there is an excess benefit (high-cost plans).

H.R. 763 – Energy Innovation & Carbon Dividend Act of 2019: This bill imposes a fee on the carbon content of fossil fuels, including crude oil, natural gas, oil, or any other product derived from those fuels that will be used so as to emit greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

H.R. 810 – To block the implementation of certain presidential actions that restrict individuals from certain countries from entering the United States.

H.R. 860 – Social Security 2100 Act: Protects and strengthens our social security system for current and future generations.

H.R. 865 – Rebuild America’s Schools Act of 2019: To provide for the long-term improvement of public school facilities.

H.R. 1043 – (Bipartisan) Employer Participation in Repayment Act of 2019: Expands the tax exclusion for employer-provided educational assistance to include payments of qualified education loans by an employer to either an employee or a lender.

H.R. 1080 – Fairness for Farm Workers Act: to provide increased labor law protections for agricultural workers.

H.R. 1108 – Aviation Funding Stability Act of 2019: To provide for funding from the Airport and Airway Trust Fund for all Federal Aviation Administration activities in the event of a Government shutdown.

H.R. 1146 – Arctic Cultural and Coastal Plain Protection Act: Protects the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge from drilling.

H.R. 1154 – Public Safety Employer-Employee Cooperation Act: To provide collective bargaining rights for public safety officers employed by States or their political subdivisions.

H.R. 1162 – Water Recycling Investment & Improvement Act: To establish a grant program for the funding of water recycling and reuse programs.

H.R. 1236 – Extreme Risk Protection Order Act of 2019: To support State, Tribal, and local efforts to remove access to firearms from individuals who are a danger to themselves or others pursuant to court orders.

H.R. 1296 – Assault Weapons Ban: To regulate the sale of assault weapons.

H.R. 1327 – (Bipartisan) Never Forget the Heroes Act: Permanent Authorization of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund.

H.R. 1384 – Medicare for All Act of 2019: To ensure affordable and quality healthcare for all Americans.

H.R. 1468 – SAFE Act of 2019: To promote the economic security and safety of survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking.

H.R. 1551 – Quality Care for Moms and Babies Act: To improve the quality, health outcomes, and value of maternity care under the Medicaid and CHIP programs by developing maternity care quality measures and supporting maternity care quality collaboratives.

H.R. 1595 – (Bipartisan) SAFE Banking Act of 2019: To create protections for depository institutions that provide financial services to cannabis-related legitimate businesses and service providers for such businesses.

H.R. 1644 – Save the Internet Act of 2019: To restore the open internet order of the Federal Communications Commission.

H.R. 1705 – Jaime’s Law: To prevent the purchase of ammunition by prohibited purchasers.

H.R. 1709 – Scientific Integrity Act: To amend the America COMPETES Act to establish certain scientific integrity policies for Federal agencies that fund, conduct, or oversee scientific research.

H.R. 1812 – (Bipartisan) Vet Center Eligibility Expansion Act: To furnish Vet Center readjustment counseling and related mental health services.

H.R. 1884 – Protecting Pre-Existing Conditions and Making Health Care More Affordable Act of 2019: To improve affordability and increase access to health insurance coverage.

H.R. 1941 – Coastal and Marine Economies Protection Act: To prohibit the Department of the Interior from offering any tract for oil and gas leasing in the Atlantic and Pacific Continental Shelf planning areas.

H.R. 1943 – Community Health Center and Primary Care Workforce Expansion Act of 2019: To provide funding for Federally qualified health centers and the National Health Service Corps.

H.R. 1948 – Lymphedema Treatment Act of 2019: To provide for Medicare coverage of certain lymphedema compression treatment items as items of durable medical equipment.

H.R. 1988 – Protect Affordable Mortgages for Veterans Act of 2019: To clarify seasoning requirements for certain refinanced mortgage loans.

H.R. 2045 – VET OPP Act: To establish the Veterans Economic Opportunity and Transition Administration and the Under Secretary for Veterans Economic Opportunity and Transition of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

H.R. 2096 – Energy Storage Tax Incentive and Deployment Act of 2019: To provide tax credits for energy storage technologies.

H.R. 2221 – Fry Scholarship Improvement Act of 2019: To expand eligibility for the Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship to children and spouses of certain deceased members of the Armed Forces.

H.R. 2256 – Driving America Forward Act: This bill expands the tax credit for new plug-in electric drive motor vehicles and extends the tax credit for new fuel cell motor vehicles.

H.R. 2326 – Navy SEAL Chief Petty Officer William Bill Mulder (Ret.) Transition Improvement Act of 2019: To improve transition assistance to members of the Armed Forces who separate, retire, or are discharged from the Armed Forces.

H.R. 2399 – Homes for Our Heroes Act of 2019: To provide greater transparency in the HUD-VASH supported housing program for homeless veterans.

H.R. 2474 – Protecting the Right to Organize Act of 2019: To strengthen protections for workers engaged in collective bargaining to improve their wages, hours, and terms and conditions of employment, and expand coverage to more workers.

H.R. 2481 – Gold Star Family Tax Relief Act: This bill treats certain military survivor benefits that are received by children as earned income of the child for the purposes of the kiddie tax (the tax on the unearned income of children). This has the effect of exempting the benefits from such tax.

H.R. 2508 – Better Respiration through Expanding Access to Tele-Health Act: To provide for a pilot program to include respiratory therapists as telehealth practitioners under the Medicare program.

H.R. 2764 – Zero Emission Vehicles Act of 2019: To create a national zero-emission vehicle standard by the year 2040.

H.R. 2924 – Housing for Women Veterans Act: To reauthorize the Supportive Services for Veteran Families Grant Program.

H.R. 2931 – SERVE Act of 2019: To direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to provide hospital care, medical services, and nursing home care for certain individuals discharged from service in the Armed Forces by reason of sexual orientation or gender identity.

H.R. 2975 – Women’s Health Protection Act of 2019: To protect a woman’s ability to determine whether and when to bear a child or end a pregnancy, and to protect a health care provider’s ability to provide reproductive health care services, including abortion services.

H.R. 2977 – DISCLOSE Act of 2019: To amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to provide for additional disclosure requirements for corporations, labor organizations, Super PACs and other entities.

H.R. 2995 – Spent Fuel Prioritization Act of 2019: This bill requires the Department of Energy to prioritize the acceptance of high-level radioactive waste or spent nuclear fuel from decommissioned nuclear power reactors located in areas with large populations and a high seismic hazard.

H.R. 3114 – Every Child Deserves a Family Act: To prohibit discrimination on the basis of religion, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), and marital status in the administration and provision of child welfare services; to improve safety, well-being, and permanency for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning foster youth.

H.R. 3136 – Storage and Transportation of Residual and Excess Nuclear Fuel Act of 2019: To direct the Secretary of Energy to establish a program for the interim storage of high-level radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel.

H.Res. 33: Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that Congress should take all appropriate measures to ensure that the United States Postal Service remains an independent establishment of the Federal Government and is not subject to privatization.

H.Res. 109:The Green New Deal: To mobilize the U.S. toward clean energy in the next 10 years with a goal of net zero emissions.

H.Res. 124: Expressing opposition to banning service in the Armed Forces by openly transgender individuals.

H.Res. 230: Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the United States condemns all forms of violence against children globally and recognizes the harmful impacts of violence against children.

H.Res. 231: Keeping guns out of classrooms.

H.J.Res. 37: Directing the removal of the United States Armed Forces from the hostilities in the Republic of Yemen that have not been authorized by Congress.

H.J.Res. 38: Removing the deadline for the ratification of the equal rights amendment.

H.Con.Res. 15 – Recognizes the importance of and reaffirms the commitment of the Congress to the Paris Agreement.

H.Con.Res 36: Supporting efforts to enact a bold jobs and infrastructure package that benefits all Americans, not just billionaires.
